Three-Generation, Sunset Photo-shoot

A family friend saw our work on Facebook and reached out to see if we might be able to update their family portrait wall with their latest addition of a beautiful baby boy.

After some discussion about generational portraits, they chose to include grandparents as well in their new portrait session.

Planning our the Thanksgiving holiday, we were able to track down some memorable locations to the families history, an original homestead, old grocery store long closed and all with farm equipment in the background.

Farming is central to this families story over the last 5 generations and we wanted to ensure we captured that in their portrait session.

Picture day dawned with bright blue skies and just the slightest breeze, perfect for capturing portraits in multiple locations and keeping everyone cool as we traveled the country side for the sites we had chosen.

The crowning glory was an amazing sunset throwing it’s beautiful warm light on our last few images!
